Who Do I Pay a Deductible To?

If your deductible is not waived, it will be your responsibility to pay “Rainbow Auto center” when you pick up your vehicle. If you aren't sure about your deductible, you can call our office and speak to the advisor assigned to you who will tell you whether your insurance company has waived your deductible or whether it will be your responsibility.

Where Do I Get a Claim Number?

Claim numbers are issued by your insurance company at the time you report your accident. Just jot it down and bring it in with you when you come in to begin the repair process, "Rainbow Auto Center" will do the rest.

Do I Have To Pay a Deductible?

Can I take my car to the “BODY SHOP” of choice?

YES! The "State of California Department of Insurance" states that an insurance company may NOT require the repairs to be done at a specific body repair shop.  Section 2695.8(e) of the "Fair Claims Settlement Practices Regulations".

Can You Match the Color of My Car?

Today's modern factory finishes incorporate multiple layers of highly specialized paints. "Rainbow Auto Center" has made a major investment in the finest paint system available and constantly upgrades its technology and equipment to ensure that each vehicle's paint matches. We take special pride in our ability to match factory finishes as the final step in the restoration process.

How Long Will My Repairs Take?

Your advisor can give you an estimated time frame of how long it will take to complete the repairs to your vehicle. Please note that although we make every effort to meet the delivery target dates we propose, it is possible that we identify hidden damage to you vehicle during the repair process. This directly impacts our initial proposed target date due to additional labor time needed and the possibility of additional parts orders. We will also advise you by phone or email with any updates.

How Will I Know When My Car Is Done?

You will be notified by phone when your vehicle is ready to be picked up.

What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?

We accept cash and major credit cards.

What Are “Betterment” Charges?

Parts that wear out and need replacement with time and use (i.e., tires, batteries, and suspension parts) are commonly subject to betterment charges when they are replaced during the repair process. These betterment charges are determined by your insurance company and are pro-rated based on actual miles on your vehicle. These charges are payable by you at the time of completion of repairs.

When Can I Wash My Car?

DO'S

  • Wash the vehicle by hand with cool water and a very mild car wash solution using a soft cloth or sponge.
  • Always use clean fresh water.
  • Wash your vehicle in the shade
DONT'S
  • Do not use a commercial car wash. Stiff brushes or sponges can mark the finish and damage the surface.
  • Do not "dry wipe" your vehicle. Dry wiping can scratch the finish.
  • Do not wax or polish the vehicle for the 1st 90-days.
